Music Video Preferences Research Survey
Team Third Verse Productions carried out a digital survey using Google Forms to get a better understanding of what audiences actually want to see in music videos. This digital survey explored what types of music videos people enjoy, which regions' music do they like, how often they watch music videos and what platforms do they use. We also asked them about the elements that appeal them the most such as camera work, editing pace, locations, lighting and what they expect to see in the first 30 seconds of the music video.
This research helped us gain a clear insight into what makes a music video more engaging and professional from an audience's perspective. This will help us develop our new script more effectively by shaping it around real audience preferences.
