My Favourite Music Video: A Raw and Real Tale of Love in Lahore

 

Some music videos entertain, some impress but a only a few hold your heart, and Hadiqa Kiani's "Inna Akhiyan" is one of them. Its not just a music video, its a story that lived and breathed. A story inspired by the forgotten corners of Lahore where life is anything but gentle. 

This video follows two beautiful souls whose lives are heavy with struggle. Their bodies carry the marks of their unfair destinies. But when they look at eachother, there is peace. Their love is not fancy or perfect, its raw, fragile and painfully real. 

The director Abdullah Harris captures all the moments beautifully without any extra drama just unconditional feelings.  What makes this video special for me is its truth. It shows that love is something that can grow even in the hardest places.
